Yeah, you can mount BF2 on a mini image with Daemon Tools easily.

Of course you'll need the disk, but it may be able to pull through on making the image.
I'm sure you can download a crack for it, but I'm not sure on BF2S policy on things like that, one thinks its a no go zone, so I'll leave the link off.
it's called bf2 mini image  - http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/3544124 … Mini_Image

I replaced my BF2.exe with another that enables the program to use more than 2GB of RAM, PR kept crashing on maxed out settings before that.

And a mini-image to run the game.

I use Daemon Tools Lite for all my disk image mounting needs.

Just wait a month till 1.5 its not worth the risk of getting your cd key banned or whatever punishment you might get, you can use daemon tools like globefish said but in my opinion its easier just to keep the cd in rather than mounting images etc, if BF2 is the game you mostly play it shouldnt bother you as most other decent games dont need the disc to play

Well, actually it's easier with a mounted image, because it autostarts and automounts with Windows.
Also, you keep your disk from getting scratched.

Better than using stupid torrents.

Just mount it with Daemon Tools and you're good to go.

Or you could use Daemon, and not spend more money on BF2
