Ok, I had vista installed, and so i boot up, and BAM! "Partition Table" is screwed, restart, i get into vista, but it's slow as fuck.

I delete all the partitions and shit, and install vista again, vista install fails.

Delete all of them again, try and install Win7 RC, fails,

Boot up gparted, and  completely whipe the HD, only 1 partition, nothing on it, etc.

INstall Win7, installs and works fine, for 1 day.

Now, it freezes randomly, task manager can't come up, and then i restart, it gets stuck on the bios screen, restart again, gets to the boot screen, freezes, restart again, it does a chkdisk scan, and fixes a bunch of shit,

this is the 4th time its done a chkdisk scan, is my HD failing, do i need a new one? Is it fixable?

Computer Specs...

MOBO: Asus P5B
HD: Seagate 320GB
Intel core 2 duo 2.4ghz

A check disc scan would have brought that up I think.

I would definitely try another hard drive if you have one. Sounds like it's having read/write errors. Could also be the RAM... Hardware errors are a bitch, sorry bro. The best thing to do is try borrowing parts from friends for testing purposes.
