House season finale

I used to watch it, but it got completely repetitive.

1. Patient with mysterious illness.
2. House calls a meeting to get input.
3. House abuses every person within sight...often multiple times.
4. House pops massive amounts of pain pills.
5. First several diagnoses lead to treatment that kills, or nearly kills patient.
6. House to the rescue with the cure.

I'm sure they'll find a way. The season finales are always ridiculous (House getting shot lol) but they usually manage to lead it on to like the entire first half of the next season (like that whole saga with the cop, which I thought was pretty crap tbh).

Anyhow I think House still draws crazy ratings, and the writer's strike didn't rape it too badly so they can milk it for some time yet.

Yes House is formulaic and I don't know if I would watch it if I wasn't interested in the actual medicine underlying the diagnoses. There's also all the drama and character development which is top notch compared to a lot of the crap on tv.
