How do you have it to where you can play both without uninstalling and reinstalling?
Copy your battlefield 2 folder in program files, EA and paste it in the same place
Install 1.5, that will be in your "battlefield 2" folder
"copy of battlefield 2" will still be 1.41

I think you also need to edit a registry key once you want to revert to v1.41 by renaming the copied folder to its original state.
