BBC Micro Model B, in about '85. I'm 27 now.

Great little computer. Had to open it up and solder bits in all the time and with a bit of soldering I could hook it up to my lego and control my robots with BBC Basic.

Elite, Revs, Castle Quest......       Ah - great games.

TRS-80 Color Computer 2 64K, starting bid on Ebay $19.99, buy it now, $39.99. About what I got out of mine 20+ years ago. Not bad I suppose.

Haha, we still have one of those. Think we've got an earlier model as well.

As for me, technically not until 2007. I've had a computer in my room for quite a bit longer, but it just wasn't specifically mine.

ZX Spectrum. Then A Commodore 64, then Amiga. Can't remember when, but was a long time ago. Manic Miner FTW!

Bought my first PC when I graduated high school in '98.  Pentium w/ mmx running Windows 95.  Played the R&T NFS for hours on end.  First family PC was Commodore 128 ... Falcon Patrol, Defender, Zaxxon, Castle Wolfenstein ... good times, good times.

Bought this piece of shit about 3 years ago. I wanted one of my mates to build it for me and for the money it would have been awesome. My dad refused because he didn't trust my mate with my money. Got someone at his work to build it. £700 spent, and it's shit. Didn't even have a fucking GFX card in it. Nice call dad

Got my iMac now though, as well. I <3 it.

This one, the one I'm currently using is my first ever PC. It has been upgraded a tiny little bit, but not much.

I got it just before BF2 came out. So what's that ... 2005?

My brother gave me his old one like 9-10 years ago. It had like a radeon 7200, 256mb ram, and a 933Mhz processor. I thought it was awesome because it played all the NES/SNES ROMs I wanted.

The first one I bought was 3 years ago. It was the first big thing I bought when I started working and am still using it without any problems. 3.2Ghz, 1GB RAM, and Radeon x1650 256mb vid card. Can still play pretty much anything, just not very well.

Well, I've been playing PC games since 7. I remember A10 Cuba, or Hind, or Outlaws by Lucas Arts! Man I miss those! Crap graphics, epic gameplay. I played a bunch of other flight sims made by Jane (company).

Anyway, that was my uncle's PC and it is a Windows 95, he has a 2GB hard drive. And like 64mb RAM or something I think, but it's old, he still uses it.

We got our first home PC when I was...errr like 9 I think or something. It was around 1999 or 2000 I think.

I got this PC in 2006, I've been upgrading it ever since, last upgrade I'll be doing is in August. I will get a GTX 295 or GTX 260.

Was born into a house with a family computer, first one I got that was mine, maybe 13, first one I built myself, 5 months ago.

EDIT: Lol, our first computer had a 3GB hard-drive. Had to uninstall programs to fit Unreal Tournament: GOTY edition on, and had to give up gaming when DVDs came out.

I scored a sweet Apple IIE in the mid-80's, when I was just a wee one.  Thanks, Grandpa.  It ran stick figure games off of cassette tapes on a totally sweet neon green screen.

First computer was a family one back in '98 I think..

My first personal one, I can't really remember but my earliest memory of it was when I moved back down South in 2001, so I'll say my first one was in 2001. Never used it until I played BF2 though, in which case it got upgraded, so I started using my personal one a lot in 2006.
