Did anyone here with really crooked teeth do braces? Or did u go straight for surgery to straighten it?
no.
i was gonna have to have them on the two front ones, got them smashed out instead.

Our dental plan here is good lol. The dentists hand them out like candy (pun intended) as the government pays for it. So most kids would have had them.
I had mine in for a year. Horrible stuff but at least I have really straight teeth now

I am in my late teens. Actually past 19 and 20 already. Is it too late for them?
I only ever had two crooked teeth, the rest were dead straight, so at the time I refused to have braces. Not the best of decisions I've made but at least getting them straightened won't be that bad.

No of course not. A lot of celebs (especially asian ones) will get them late in adulthood. In fact it may be better to get them later as after 10-15 years your teeth will go crooked again- and it's nicer to have nice teeth in your 20s to 30s than in your teens.Ayumiz wrote:

Over here you would have to pay for it yourself though, government covers you until you're 18. So check what your system is.

eh? I always thought it was just dental work they covered not braces. But yeah we cost the government a bomb
I had em for a few years and have to wear the retainer to bed every night for the next few nights. Used to have to be all day everyday though
I have natural straight teeth.
I win.
I win.
Fuck that I don't want to get dissed.
Last time i had a dentist do a check on me, she said i had a protruding jaw. Is it still possible for braces?
lisa needs braces

Not late, you can have them in 30 or 40 no matter.Ayumiz wrote:

I had eight teeth out in one go.
Still have thoroughly British crooked teeth, so I can only assume they would have been even worse.
My sister went through braces etc, which broke the nerve in two teeth resulting in root canal work and caps.
I took the money instead and bought a car. No point having good teeth if you're walking.

Fuck Israel
Nah, and you can get those invisible braces (if they still even have them? I assume they do).Ayumiz wrote:

I got lucky with my teeth. They're pretty much perfectly straight and I probably won't need my wisdom teeth pulled.
Invisaligns? I didn't think they worked for really crooked teeth, just minor adjustments.Poseidon wrote:

rich people...
I saw one of my old teachers have them, and he was like 60ish, I say if you make it that long why put those things on now...
Dunno. Still though, if his teeth are THAT crooked, he should go for whatever he can get. A few years of braces > a life of crooked teeth.ebug9 wrote:

I had braces when I was playing hockey ( I was 17). I got hit and 2 of them fell off. So I got them taken out just so that it wouldn't happen again. It was a bad decision.
I just had mine taken off last month just in time for Prom which was pretty awsome haha. I love my teeth, straight and super white:)
