Just wanted to clear a few things up.

It'll let me string video clips followed by a slideshow (with music overlay) finished with a video clip?

How to i rip videos from youtube (someone posted up a code ages ago)

How do i convert the ripped videos into an mp3 track, just for the music obv.

Help appreciated.

2) Get the DownloadHelper extension for FF

3) Audacity should be able to do it. Don't quote me on that though.

I use the flashgot extension with flashget for ripping youtube vids.

And i use a program called flv extract to rip audio from youtube vids. Except that doesn't work with the hq mp4 files. Only really used it for hlss.

I just tried to open an mp4 and an flv with audacity and it converted it into 2.3 seconds of incredibly painful static.

bumping because this is semi-urgent.

I found some xilisoft thing, but that slices your vids in half. i just want something (free) easy to use.

AoA Audio Extractor will let you extract audio from video in MP3, WAV and AC3 formats (from AVI, MPEG, MPG, FLV, DAT, WMV, MOV, MP4, 3GP)
