Hi, I'm new here. I have been reading this forum alot over the last few weeks, and found most of the feature posts very helpful.

My question is:

What happens to your stats if you disconnect from a server during a game, either deliberately, by being kicked or banned, or by losing the connection?

I'm assuming your kills and deaths during the game still count towards your stats, plus all of the time-based stats. But what about the wins/losses. Are you automatically given a loss if you disconnect from a match, or does the final outcome of the match get added to your score, or is it just not counted at all.

I mainly want to know because I have been disconnected alot lately due to my connection being lost.

I jumped on a game, got 5 points, then quit the game completely. I checked later and it gave me a win and 5 points. The team I was on must have won the game (I guess).

I think points & stuff will count but if you get a badge or a ribbon I'm not sure it would stick.

truthfully? it is almost completely random. you either do or you dont. pray that you DO, if you just done knifing 17 people...

you need to be in the server for 5 mins, once you hit that time, you get all your points and a win or loss.

if you leave under 5 mins you dont get anything, this is so when you join a server and the round ends right away you dont get ripped off with a loss.

well you could still get kindof ripped off if you joined and played for 5 min then lose

but it's still better than right away

What about when you play almost an entire round with one team and get moved to the other side by Autobalance 30 seconds before the round ends.  Do you get dinged for the loss?  My guess is yes, but it sure does't seem fair.  It has happened to me when I am the first or second highest scorer for the winning side.  Doesn't seem fair to lead one side to victory, only to get booted to the other team at the last second.

There are rounds that end below 5 minutes...
If you go for a ranked server don't go to small map servers because if it's true that you need to be beyond 5 minutes you won't get any points most of the rounds.

i been in rounds that end in five mins too and got a silver for one of them, id say that if the game ends the round
prematualy the 5 mins doesnt apply.

He said you have to be in the SERVER for five mins before it'l count.  So any rounds that you're in after the five minute mark will count.

not necessarily.have been in a round that ended after 30 secs.got gold and it was counted.have joined a round as it ends and been given a win or loss.not sure as have also had it not register.may have something to do with being on the server when the round starts.
