You can toggled between hold to aim, or click to aim. And I've yet to fall through the map, which is a good thing.

Ok, so I completely reinstalled windows (was necessary anyways) and now the beta finally works! Unfortunatly to get any decent framerates I have to run it at low, but even then it still looks good.

Few of my personal observations:

Damages seem a bit high, but is not terrible. Do wonder what hardcore will be like though.
Don't really like the battlelog thing, but meh.
Hate the killcam as it is now, really want to be able to quit the killcam whenever I like.
Hate the fact that you can only change stuff when alive.
Operation Métro is beyond gay.
Rush is still stupid. But that is not really BF3's fault.
I like the insane recoil
I like the ambiance.
Holding crouch and ADS kind of bugs me.
Oh and pistols are just utter rape. Went SVD + Pistol on metro just now and managed to get some 35 frags. In contrast, I only managed to get like 10 - 12 kills as medic/support.
People are still whiney little cunts. lel.

I'm going knife only with the sprint mod, flanking behind people all camping and just picking them off one by one. So much fun.

You can set crouch and aim toggle in the keybindings. You just swap them over from the current.

you would be surprised, the game content literally can't change as it has to go through certification with MS and Sony, they can change stuff after in patches but that might be a while as anything other than a bug fix again has to go through certification and generally the publisher waits for a large bunch of changes because the process costs them money.

Atleast thats the excuse Ive been given at work.

I gave a huge write up in the alpha phase. I've just been bumping threads I agree with like the interface issues (no option to access menu's unless spawned in game) and the lack of squad management.
