They still sell the WRT54-G - its a v2 now. Also check on WBR14-G2 from SMC networks. Not a bad choice either.

the V2s are the UFO shaped ones. their antennas are internal obviously. i've heard not so great stuff about them but i do own a WRT54G2 and i have flashed DD-WRT on it with no problems. had it for maybe half a year now. it hasn't been long enough to tell but so far it's been doing its job very well.
