So this thing is really odd, but when I turn on my power supply, my power meter sparks and the psu also emits a sparking noise, no magic smoke or any burn, voltages are fine.

All this shit started after a electrical storm, and yes my shit is protected.

Any ideas?

well my shit was protected too but the HDD died anyway cos of static electricity. I wouldn't wanna have that PSU in my PC

Adding to that, it was unplugged during the entire storm. I Think that the power lines were damaged and my pc is getting shit power.

PC is working very well, nothing suspicious, also those arc like noises that occur in both places happen mostly at startup ( PSU ON ) and sometimes at shut down.

No instability, no out of bounds voltage, no nothing.

Static is in the air and as soon as you plug something back in it can screw with electronic components, not saying thats what happened to your PSU but just pointing out for future reference. You should always ground yourself after a storm when plugging stuff in.

Update: Only the counter is arcing; It apparently does it so loudly I mistaken it for my PC, This could probably be the source of all my PSU oddities.

A nice lightning shower happens on that piece of shit when I turn my pc on.

Also, when I plug this I make sure to not touch the plugs and etc..
