So far there are 3 bodies and a single surviving toddler have been found out of 153 people on board. It was only 30KM from landing. Seas and winds at the time were reported choppy at the time, with speeds nearing 60KMH (35MPH) [30 Knots] The cause of the crash is yet unknown, but the airplane was reported as unsafe to fly in French Airspace.
"A few years ago, we banned this plane from national territory because we believed it presented a certain number of irregularities in its technical equipment,"

Im a horrible bastard I know and I don't mean to jest but I honestly thought of 'fish food' when I first saw this as I think there are probably sharks galore in those waters.  Providing the bodies arn't coated in too much fuel they'll have a feast won't they?

How the hell did a toddler survive that?

Apparently this flight also consisted of quite alot of French citizens, I think God has something against French people going on planes

This year has been a rather normal one for plane crashes, its just the media reports a lot more of them.

Updated news report says that particular plane was banned from French Airspace due to failure to meet safety requirements. Cause of crash is yet unknown.

EDIT- Blast, there was a thread in D&ST already, 6 hours older than mine.
