Firefox 3.5 is based on the Gecko 1.9.1 rendering platform, which has been under development for the past year. Firefox 3.5 offers many changes over the previous version, supporting new web technologies, improving performance and ease of use. Some of the notable features are:

* Available in more than 70 languages. (Get your local version!)
* Support for the HTML5 <video> and <audio> elements including native support for Ogg Theora encoded video and Vorbis encoded audio. (Try it here!)
* Improved tools for controlling your private data, including a Private Browsing Mode.
* Better web application performance using the new TraceMonkey JavaScript engine.
* The ability to share your location with websites using Location Aware Browsing. (Try it here!)
* Support for native JSON, and web worker threads.
* Improvements to the Gecko layout engine, including speculative parsing for faster content rendering.
* Support for new web technologies such as: downloadable fonts, CSS media queries, new transformations and properties, JavaScript query selectors, HTML5 local storage and offline application storage, <canvas> text, ICC profiles, and SVG transforms.

I'd be helpless if I couldn't type the three first letters of my favourite porn site, press down and hit enter.

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. I feel your pain. Almost all the themes that were working in pre-3.5 are not working in 3.5. Just gotta wait for the updates. I HAD the Cyclence Just Black theme and I miss it so much

Yeah, the default theme does everything it needs to do. Don't need anything else.

Anyway I already had the clear history settings etc.. done so Porn mode isn't really needed. Things seem abit smoother, I think. And there's a little + so you can make a new tab which is....not bad. I just use the middle mouse over the home button though to create a new tab with Google.

But apparently it's as fast as Chrome now except with all the proper Firefox addons etc.. so it should be quite good. An update is an update

Websites like Digg work much faster though

Nah my way is better than lazier, like I said, middle button over the home icon = new tab (loads up google in a new tab)

I use firefox personas, makes the browser looks much better
