I am wanting to play BF2 on my laptop when I am away from home *caugh* at work *caugh*, can I load the same CD, or do I need to go buy another copy? Any ideas?
Same CD will work single player mode or multiplayer?
you can use the same cd as long as you don't play on the laptop and desktop at the same time. well thats if your laptop can handle it.
I personally have a disk image of my bf2:sf disc and use daemon tools to make my computer think the disc is still in.

Itll Work As Long As Your Not Logged On Both At Same Time
Why wouldn't you be able to? My guess is that it won't run because you need at least 128MB of RAM for video. Do you have a 128MB or more video card on board? Don't know? Go to "Start", then "Run" and type "dxdiag" then hit "ENTER". Click "okay" when the box pops up. Click on the " Display" tab and look under the line that says Approx. Total Memory (4th line from top). If it is anything less than 128MB it won't work for sure. And if it is 128MB or more than it MIGHT work. There are not too many upgrades for video cards on laptops. I know from experience. That is why I built my own PC. Load the game if you have 128MB or more and go to the EAsy Info or whatever it is called. (It's in the Battlefield 2 folder). This will tell you if you are able to run the game or not.
In short, I seriously doubt if it will run unless your laptop is a couple of months old and you spent aver $1400 on it.

It's a work laptop. Gig of Ram, Puntium M 1.9, but a damn Radeon X300 64Mb. Maybe I can just bring in another PC, and no one will notice Thanks for the response.
Im running a Dell Inspiron 9300 with 1 gig of ram, a GeForce Go 6800 and it has no probs at all.
