Get a job or something.
I miss high school because of the social life, and I think he means the same thing.
Pretty much. Also, my school wasn't part of the (mostly) shitty public school system so free thought was encouraged.

And there's such a thing as having too much free time. I had a ton of free time as it was in high school. Don't get me wrong, when you're with friends summer is awesome. For the first two weeks it was great, me and my good pals were hanging out practically every day. But now one of them has summer school, one of them is gone for a couple of weeks, one of them has work, and the other one is at camp. Basically fail.
You in DC and have nothing to do?  When I live there I never was bored....  Go to the Mall and watch the fireworks for the Fourth.

*edit: there's always 14th street and I....  Georgetown my friend.

I stood in line for four hours. They better give me a Wal-Mart gift card, or something.  - Rodney Booker, Job Fair attendee.

I'm going to my friend's house on the Fourth and we're gonna have a cookout and then go to the National Harbor and watch fireworks there, on the edge of the Potomac

And I'm chilling with a friend on Friday. As I've said, when you're with friends summer is awesome. Unfortunately, the time without friends is painstaking.

Hell yea!  Potomac River seats for the fireworks?... I'm envious.  Enjoy yourself and be safe.  Your friends aren't that far away.

Haha i'm loving my summer, all my best friends are going into different colleges, me UCLA, my asian friend is going to UCSB, my mexican friend is going to UCSD, We went to Pismo and Six Flags during this summer and plan on doing a lot more after I come back from China, What's great is we'll all still be in an hour or 2 reach of each other when we go away to college.

I have the ACT scores to get into somewhere like UCLA but that's about it. My GPA's going to end up around a 3.2 I'd say. Probably not enough to get me in.

Though, I do have around 16-18K for tuition alone every year. Could be an incentive..

Summer rocks.

I've smoke more marijuana in the first week and a half of summer than I did all school year
and I didn't even drink at all during school time

I hate California, although that area around Sunnyvale is not too bad ... but, wow, is it expensive.

I might move back to the DC area after college (and grad school, if I go to it, which I probably will)

They won't accept you with a 3.2, regardless of your ACT score. The standards for OOS students are ridiculously high, especially when concerning GPA.

Also, congrats on UCLA, Shadow. It's nice seeing fellow seniors going to good universities. Your football team, though, needs a bit of help.
