if EA was smart they would just have map making contests, so that way >thousands of people will make maps and all they have to do is look at which ones look good and then add them. that would be a good idea there...

XBox Live costs $ numb nuts. We can play online for free, as much or as little as we like. I'm sorry if 9.99 for an update breaks the bank for ya...Considering they could charge monthly just to be online.

I highly doubt the updates are anything substantial, maybe a new map here or there, but nothing as big as new classes/weapons/vehicles. Most of Xbox online games you have to pay a fee, like around 5$ to get more, like Splinter Cell and Ghost Recon for example, i remember you had to pay a small fee to get extra maps or somthing equivalent.

LOL do you know anything about Xbox Live? That money goes directly to Microsoft, Xbox live has nothing to do with EA, they don't see a cent of it. You are just paying for the service that Microsoft is providing by allowing you to conect to online games and such.

Then EOD, FH, POE, and a few other mods will be relased for BF2. Ranked server will start emptying, since they only played for stats they will think BF2 PC has died. For the better of all BF2 players.

Look on the bright side. Consols suck. I mean really suck. Especially with First Person Shooters. Those little joystick things don't let you aim for shit. I was trying to shoot my mate in the head on Halo 2 once right, spent almost a damn minute getting his head in my crosshair. He realised and moved just before I could get a damn shot off.

No, the only thing consols are good for are are fighting games, sidescrollers and to a lesser extent, racing games.

They got snow maps. Nice. I want those too! Prolly XBOX bf2 has EF and stuff built in. Buy bf2 on xbox and you'll get the whole package. Not paying extra for a booster pack. EA should make Booster packs for free.
