The last, good looking Ferraris were the 360, 612 and the 550/555/Superamerica. The Enzo, the 430, the 599 and the California are all fucking ugly as shit. They have no real consistency in the designs. They look flamboyant and everything like a Ferrari should be, but they've lost the CLASS that they also used to have in their styling. They no longer look voluptuous. Now they all look violent, like Lamborghinis.
If I was shopping for a supercar, I would certainly be looking elsewhere if I was to be buying something off the dealership floor ...

hmmm, I think the 430, Enzo, and 599 look awesome. The 550/575s were also pretty good looking. I, on the other hand, absolutely hate the 360 and 612. Especially the 612, but I guess it doesn't look as bad as the car it replaced. The last really good looking Ferrari imo was the 355. I remember as a little kid when the 360 was first shown as the replacement for the 355. I was pissed. Same with Lamborghini. The Diablo will always be cooler than the Murcielago.CapnNismo wrote:

And also the 456 and the 550 are teh last good looking Ferrari models.
Now they just look like they designed to make it look crazier, they are going toward the Zonda direction tbh.

Zondas are some of the most beautiful cars on the road. They're supposed to be crazy. They at least also manage to maintain a consistent body style throughout the entire car.aerodynamic wrote:

When you look at the new Ferraris, it's like you are looking at Microsoft Vista. Lots of good ideas all pushed together into one thing - some of it works great, some not so great, and then a few bad ideas mixed in there (because no one is perfect). Not the best analogy, but the best I can come up with. It used to be when you looked at a Ferrari, it looked as if one master painter drew the whole car. Now you look at them and you wonder if they're being designed by some bureaucratic commission with no passion.
Delta - I would also agree with you on the 355. When you compare the 355 with the 360, the 360 is piss ugly in comparison and looks, dare I say, PLAIN. The 355 oozes style and sex. The 360 looks, in comparison, as if it was designed by someone at Mercedes or BMW.
Nice looking car, its mad watching how Ferrari's have lost the 'squareness' they used to have.

Ferrari should be a thing of beauty but married with the high-tech technology. Now it seems like they are just trying to scrap its beauty and replace them with the modern "cliche" type design, I DO NOT APPROVE!!!
Damn, that's one of the best looking Ferrari's I've seen in awhile, I dunno why. Something about this that makes me like it ALOT.
I never liked the F430, yeah it was nice, but it was never a "Wow" It was always more of a "Cool"
The thing is though, we're never going to go back to the days of the Lambo Diablo (still the best looking Lambo, IMO) or the Countach or the Ferrari Testarossa or the 288 GTO (my Fav Ferrari), and the modern Lambo's are particularly crappy looking, but it's just how shit is sometimes.

I have never liked Ferraris, and the 430 was the only one that caught my fancy. Before that they all had horrible '80s type styling even into the mid '90s but you were supposed to like it and it was supposed to look good because it was a Ferrari.
It's a ferrari. I'm not gonna dis it because I would still drive it and not complain. You can't really say anything bad about a car that costs as much as some houses.
