Case: CM Centurion 590 (fan slots filled)
GFX: ???
OS: Vista Home Premium x64 with upgrade to Windows 7 after release

Comes to $1213.97 without GFX card

Recommend me an ATI GFX card that will keep it under around $1350-1375

I don't know what his budget is exactly, but he'll probably wait a while, as he has another computer at his mom's house that he plays on. This one is at his dad's house, and he can play at his friend's house up the street.

His current BF2 system, which he just bought in January (the one mentioned in OP):

Proc: E8400 @ stock
Mobo: Gigabyte something or other(will update when he emails me the info)
RAM: 4 GB DDR2 1066 i think
GFX: 9800 GTX+
OS: Vista Home Premium x64
Case: CM Centurion 5

He really doesn't need to make this one able to play BF2(his parents got it for him for school and to replace his shitty slimline HP computer from about 4.5 years ago), but he eventually will...
