got any popo lolo intersting?

So I will be getting some stuff for my computer soon. I know what I will get for the insides (more RAM and a TB HD) but I am yet to decide on the stuff that goes outside the case. Aka I need help picking a monitor and a gaming mouse.

Monitor: I currently have a 21" CRT monitor that I am very happy of, however it is huge. It is just too big. Thus I need an LCD monitor.

The difficulty is picking one. It would have to be Full HD capable, but doesn't have to be 1920x1200 (those tend to be a lot more expensive and I'm happy with 16:9 as well). It also needs to be 23" or 24". That amount of pixels is just too much for 22".

Now the hard part is balancing between features/quality and price. I am not willing to spend a huge lot of money on this (would prefer if it was in the 'under 250€' price range), yet I want a good and solid monitor capable of movies and gaming. That's where I turn to you people. Suggestions are taken.

Mouse: My current mouse is basically a relic. It actually has a ball inside it, you wouldn't have believed someone still has those, eh. It is obvious I need a better one asap and now would be the time.

So what I am looking for is a good gaming mouse that has at least a few extra buttons and a good, accurate sensor. It doesn't need to have fancy bling bling lights n' stuff, just a solid mouse. I am not willing to spend a huge lot on a it unless extremely needed, so give suggestions here too. Right off the bat I can tell I don't like Razer Copperhead so it is counted out.

Thanks in advance.

PS: I can order from www.jimmspc.fi / www.multitronic.fi / www.verkkokauppa.com / www.tietoasema.fi/ (Monitor preferably from here since they give full dead pixel warranty)

Must be isolated issue. Or something with the tv model you got. I haven't had slightest problem with their PC monitors.

haha I dunno. Gotta love the retailers over here then. The RMA works wonders here. The store I linked to is god-like with its full pixel warranty.

Actually www.jimmspc.fi works too. About the monitors I can say that Samsung makes great monitors, but I have never had any problems with Viewsonic.

52 euros?!
That's ridiculous.

I can't believe the prices on the G5 haven't budged. It's crazy. In the UK it costs £40/46 euros. That's a ridiculous amount of money to pay for a mouse, although it is probably worth it because it's pretty much unparalleled in performance.

I bought G5 from that same store, but for 35€ and I got decent mousepad for free as bundle.

G5 here. Have used it for I don't know how long. 3 years?? Has it been that long on the market? I say bad luck with your Samsam, Watman. I have two Samsung TV's and they work like a charm. That monitor you posted Panzer... Damn you. I just might drive to that store in Espoo on my way home Buuut. I don't have the money and besides my 19" LG TFT is still alive and kickin'.

I'd recommend the MX518 over the G5. Tonnes cheaper and has more buttons.
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP
