The short version of the story:

A Mother's 5 week old baby dies, she wants an extra 10 minutes with him at the funeral and the council said she spent too long and sent her an invoice for £86.

But officials at the crematorium, which is run by Milton Keynes Borough Council, routinely impose an extra charge if any funeral runs over its 30-minute slot.

So she should've known the rules, what makes her more special than anyone else burying their loved ones?

When they book a funeral they are allocated a slot and the crematoriums etc are strict and adhere to them. Each family using the crematorium are in there own world of suffering and grief. Unless you work in the funeral business you dont know or see half the work, phone calls and arrangments that are going on.

I dont reckon your making fun of it but neither of us have lost a son or daughter so cant really comment on the grief felt. Im grateful I don't know and never want to. Your supposed to bury ya parents not ya kids.
