Leaving work today it had just rained and the road was slippery so as I was turning I lost control and slide into another car. We are both alright and we called the police but the police gave me a reckless driving ticket were I have to appear in court. All I have is a pic of my cars fucked up front that'll post when I get home. My parents picked me up from work after I left my car parked at the job so I am 14 again in the backseat of my parents car being driven home, shit sucks.

Rain, slippery road.
How the fuck do you lose control?
This thread is gonna be good. *popcorn*.

Slow down. Speed limit laws include a "reasonable and prudent" clause that basically says "if there's bad weather, slow the fuck down"Macbeth wrote:

Not sure where you live, but if you haven't gotten a lot of rain over the summer the oil from engine exhaust won't be washed off the road until after the first few rains. Thus, for the first few, you really have to be careful.
TL;DR: Lrn2Drive.
Red: Go too fast, lose traction, slide.

If you lost control of your car because the road was wet, you were driving recklessly tbh.
this. If you can't handle rain, please have your mom drive you around in the winter.GC_PaNzerFIN wrote:

You say "had just rained", so it can't really be Aquaplanning.. meaning you ****ed up... you probably diserve the ticket tbh... I can't emagine how you will get through winter.. ice & snow etc.

Silly Macbeth. Driving too fast on wet roads is not clever.
Now you have a court appearance and probable fine, a fucked up car and liability for the other parties insurance claim. Won't that mean it'll cost you quite a bit to get insured again? What with a driving conviction and a recent claim....
You should be more careful.

Rear wheel drive fail
lol I remember when I was in my cousins BMW, on a roundabout, on wet roads. Ended up doing a complete 360 and was lucky the car behind didn't smash into us

I once lost control of our Pajero (4x4 naturally). The road was practically an ice rink. I tapped the brakes and they instantly locked (no ABS) as I was trying to turn, the car went straight forward and I was like, "fuck fuck fuck". Then I just corrected the steering wheel and kept driving forward and let the car lose speed by itself with no brake usage.Mekstizzle wrote:

i'm not worried about the court apperance, The other car wasn't too bad, insurance will go up , I work at a car dealership so I can get nnew parts for free and now I will have an excuse to paint my car. In any case picBertster7 wrote:
