killing natsis
looks stupid tbh. Brad Pitt is a fag.
I'm looking forward to seeing it soon, so I'll be able to answer the OP anon. Can't wait to see new Tarantino work.
what sucked about it?
Wouldn't be surprised if some historical accuracy "liberties" were taken, considering the director...
It's a complete fantasy. This is Tarantino we're talking about, he's not going to make historically accurate Spielburg-esque WW2 movie. Iglorious Basterds looks like simple cinematic fun and I'll be going to see it when I get the chance.

I saw it last night.
I haven't seen any other Tarantino films before (yeah I know..), but despite some kinda slow and awkward parts in this film, I quite liked it. Yes, he did take large liberties in how the war turned out, but that's part of what makes it fun - what if this happened?
Really awesome flick. Imho it was the perfect mix of gore, humor, and history (distorted as it may be). BUSINESS IS GOOD! I highly recommend this movie.

He makes B movies. Always has, always will.

Wait, what? That was supposed to be a "B" type movie.

Quentin Tarantino makes B movies.
I can't wait to see this. I love his films, and he knows how to write great dialog (though Death Proof was really boring, but other than that).

You're right on point actually, very impressive considering you haven't even seen the film. If you want a historically accurate piece, go see Saving Private Ryan. If you want an alternative ending to WW2 Tarantino style, go see the Basterds.Ty wrote:

Now I know your opinion is almighty and respected on these forums, but you don't know what the fuck you're talking about on this one Alex. Though I may be biased, I love Tarantino's style and Inglorious Basterds was a very entertaining and well directed story. It took a different direction to what I thought (i was expecting Spielberg war scenes with alot more focus on the Basterds) but it was refreshing all the same. He pulled some emotions out of me, when the first scene was played, I actually felt hatred for the jew hunter. For a movie to do that to me is quite rare. This whole movie is about revenge and it was quite well done.ATG wrote:
