I made this up myself, and I'm posting it on here for any suggestions on how to improve it:

The thing we need to discuss is a word called TACTICS!

The last few matches we have had have turned out horrible. We are not fighting together, I barely see any teamwork. We need to make the squads work together. One squad does one thing, while the other does another thing. It pieces together to make us win.

I'm going to make a situation and how to make us win int he end.

12 members have attended the match. We are on Karkand as USMC. MEC has all flags to begin with. Here is the steps to winning:

1. Divide into 4 squads.

A) Squad #1 is made up of ASSAULT, MEDIC, SUPPORT. This squad will attack at the frontlines, making sure the enemy does not get behind and blow up the commander assets. There will be 4 members in this squad.

B) Squad #2 is made up of ASSAULT, MEDIC, SUPPORT, SPEC-OPS, and ANTI-TANK. This squad captures flags and blows up tanks/APCs and commander assets. There will be 3 members in this squad.

C)Squad #3 will defend. They begin attack with Squad #1, and once Squad #2 captures a flag, they will begin to defend that flag. There will be 3 members in this squad.

D)Squad #4 will be a vehicle squad. They will drive tanks, APCs, and humvees, and fight whereever needed. There will be 2-3 members in this squad. The amoutn of members varies depending on if we need alot of vehicle support.

2. Once a flag has been captured, have Squad #1 and #3 defend it while Squad #2 goes off to capture other flags. Two squada is much better than having one squad fend off an entire team.

3. If over 50% of the flags are captured, do not worry about the other. Defend the flags you already have before moving on to the last flag.

Also, maybe if you have sum good tactis as MEC, you could post them here.

I wont take your information and say i made it up, i'll will tell the guys in my clan who made the tactics. kinda like copyright.

...so, master tactician, tell me...

how exactly does squad two have anti-tank, spec-ops, assault, support, and medic...with only three people?

also, i've found the best tactic as USMC on karkand is to have one squad attack the hotel...have one go to suburb, and have one go to the factory (or gatehouse if youre playing 32p maps).

if it was me, i would have 4 squads with 4 members in the main 2 squads and 2 members in the others.
squad 1: 2 assault, medic, support to go and capture hotel and then defend it
squad 2: 2 Spec ops, anti tank, medic (medic being squad leader) to capture flags furthest away by flanking down the right hand side of the map.
squad 3: 2 snipers, to move around wherever covering fire is needed and therefore they can leave and join their squad and keep spawning on each other if they die.
squad 4: Medic and Support to run around and heal/revive and give ammo to team, and be versatile by helping to cap/defend nearby flags.

Once hotel and furthest away flags are capped, squads 1,2 and 4 converge on middle flags with sniper coverage from squad 3 and surround the enemy from both sides and trap them in a crossfire.

what wins on that map or any other is a thing called OCOKA

In that acronym is  the word Key terrain

sieze it and control and you win

The situation described above is easy

on karkaland USMC must sieze the enemy base and hold it, taking the flags from that side of the map one at a time until they get to the bridge

then blow the bridge and keep it down, which gives one easily defended choke point for them to cross back

To do this you take one or better yet two full squads, put them in apcs with tank cover and haul ass to the other side via diffrent routes

you can insure success by sending out a Jihad jeep ahead to take out some enemy armor

I've also been successful, stoping to bring another flag half way down to draw them off

The keys to any of these maps is understanding the chokes points and key terrain and exploiting it

because of the low level of overall tactics training

basic WW1 type tactics are employed and successful

on that map the counter is also simple,  either jihad jeeps to anything that drives out of the USMC base, there is one at each control point off the first one or mine the choke point up near the USMC arty spawn points

however controls the most casualty producing weapons, IE the armor wins
