I've never seen Michael Caine outside of a Christopher Nolan film.

No, I thought it looked retarded when it first came out...ghettoperson wrote:

Great movie, I just screened it and it was incredible. If you liked Shutter Island you will like Inception.
Took quite a long time for this to come out (since the first trailer was shown), then.
Inception is the shit.
although certain moments were predictable, you didn't know what was going to happen.
Although it isn't a very immersive movie (jumps around a bit too much for my liking), it's plot is top notch and it's logic has only a couple holes
Lastly, the setup of the scenario isn't that good, and some character development seems a bit forced
Spoiler (highlight to read):
The new girl is very passive, then all of a sudden wants to know all about her employer... WTF?
But, easily the best movie of the summer

Definitely one of the better movies I've seen in a very long time. I think it's getting a little overrated after riding the emotional wave during and shortly after the film. I'm sure it has its problems, I was just too caught up with enjoying the film.
So basically, I'm sure after multiple viewings, holes will be discovered and problems might be found. But the first time you see it, it is one hell of a ride!

Also, note to self: When the DVD comes out and high-quality footage is available, edit together a new trailer set to Talking Heads' "Dream Operator"
So at the moment after 5,000 votes on imdb it has a rating of 9.3, which is saying something for sure, in fact if it maintains that it will be the greatest film of all time on imdb, I'm itching to see this.
I know fucking karate
I wouldn't mind seeing it, but lately I've been seeing only 3d at the theater. 'Despicable Me' first.
i hate 3d, so many migranes >_>
everything i write is a ramble and should not be taken seriously.... seriously. ♥
3D sucks, I hate those glasses.
Amazing movie. Forces you to really think in a different way. Completely new concept and it was just breathtaking. Mol annoyed me, though.
I didn't fully understand some small moments in the movie despite concentrating 100%. I'm gonna go a second time, fo sho.

Same, I understood the general plot, etc but actually got confused at a few points throughout - which is great, because that doesn't usually happen.lrishpride wrote:

Just came back from watching it and it is the shit.
