BF2S Forums Inception: 2010

It's special-effects-heavy, you'd be better off seeing it in theaters. I think I got a sweet bargain for the $11.50 I paid. Plus, seeing it with an audience is great, seeing/hearing the reactions of the people around you.

Don't skip out on it because of the ending. It's about the journey, not the destination.

I thought the ending was pointless and spoiled it. I mean what's wrong with ending on a positive note. Instead it has to end on a 'oh no where is he' that makes no sense considering the rest of the film. It felt like a cliffhanger simply for the sake of it.
But aside from that I really loved the film. I want to see it again.

When I saw it people chuckled at some bits, cheered in others, and gasped a few times.

Just found out that for all the trippy effects and so on that they had in the film, there were less vfx shots in it (approx. 500) than there was in The Dark Knight (approx. 620)...interesting

I've also never gotten people that don't want to to see something just because everyone else likes it.  I can understand being wary about it, but not seeing because they're afraid of looking like sheep?  Just see it and if you like it, cool, if not, oh well.

A rare 10/10 movie if for nothing more than its originality.

It felt like it was influenced by its weird old uncle Oceans 11 as well.... parts of the movie were practically a heist movie

the entire movie was a heist movie. Oceans Eleven was just another one to follow the "Make Team, Do Job" formula.

Yes, although its debatably the most well known.
