The Matrix was basically a heist movie.Little BaBy JESUS wrote:
It felt like it was influenced by its weird old uncle Oceans 11 as well.... parts of the movie were practically a heist movieReciprocity wrote:
What Dreams May Come and The Matrix had a beautiful baby, and it was called Inception.
A rare 10/10 movie if for nothing more than its originality.
Well waddaya know...
ummmm no offense, but I noticed that straight away while watching. I thought it was obvious?
Good movie though. First movie I've seen twice the cinema ever. I feel it was actually better the second time around because you really see all the subtleties and nuances that went straight over my head the first time I watched the film, especially at the beginning.
O. I didn't notice it. Didn't pay attention to the music that much. Was occupied with beingbennisboy wrote:

Saw it a few days ago, great story but too complex to shine in a movie tbh

It's weird that pretty much everyone I know wants to watch this movie twice at the cinema. It really is just one of those films.
yeah, because there's so much information to take in. They should have handed out a little guide book at the theatre. It's not an incredibly difficult movie to follow, but understanding and keeping straight all the little nuances and rules at the same time can be a bit daunting.Aries_37 wrote:

I think it would have been a better movie if in the end you saw the top start spinning again, knowing it was a dream.
So you then have to re-watch and look for clues, guess the point that he is in the dreams and dig for the subplot.

saw it yesterday, awsm movie
stupid suggestion is stupid. That would just mean that he didnt really wake up on the plane. It wouldn't mean that throughout the film it would change when he was dreaming or not, because they make it evident. He uses his Totem all the time when he is awake cos he's losing touch with reality, and you see it fall a lot.AussieReaper wrote:

The way the end is encourages you to look a lot more for clues, because you don't know if he is asleep or awake.
Not really.bennisboy wrote:

When he spins it in the bathroom he is interrupted, so you don't see it fall or not.
