I agree. Should only say "Limbo".

Here's another one I came across some time ago and kept forgetting to post:

So I heard someone say "I heard Chris Nolan is a big Radiohead fan. Do you think he got the concept of limbo from the Radiohead song?"

There were a few Deus Ex Machina moments which detracted from the movie.

Did you even watch the movie Nismo?

The screen grab above is Cobb running away from the mysterious agents and he squeezes through an alleyway and into the waiting Saito's car.

That was a Deus Ex Machina.

I found that scene funny since all he had to do was go flat against the wall and he'd been through the hole in a nanosecond.

Inception is one of those mindfuck movies I do want it briefly explained before going to see.

Yes, I just didn't understand what a "Deux Ex Machina" was

Basically, you have a dream, and inside that dream, you have another dream, and inside that dream, you have another dream and inside that dream, you have another dream.

I seriously think I might have had a dream within a dream last night

In the first one I was so tired and lacking energy and even nearly fell asleep at a few points and caught myself snoring. Then I found myself in another dream and was full of energy and running around until the end when I was extremely tired again and then woke up.

I've had dreams within dreams before plenty of times. I usually end up waking up in the dream, and going about my routine for about 10 minutes (dream time), then I realise I'm not actually awake, and wake up.

Guy is accused of killing his wife. Can't into USA. His 'job' is to go into peoples dreams and take their ideas. Some guy approaches him and says "If you put an idea into some guys head I'll make it so you can into USA". Guy is like, that shit is hard to do, but fuck yeah, I wanna see my kiddies etc etc. So he gets people to do the job, and attempts it. To get the rest, go see the movie.

you didn't see it yet. someone just planted the idea that you saw it last night when you were dreaming. actually go see it this time and tell us what you think.

It got heavily hyped because the average filmgoing moron could feel intellectual and interpret symbolism, as well as not understand a simple plot that only appeared to be complex, so therefore it must be "deep" and "challenging".

I won't pretend I'm a huge intellectual when it comes to film, but I like to think I'm smarter (and can see deeper) than the average moviegoer.

I enjoyed it. I didn't think it was all that thought provoking or a mindfuck in any way. Story was actually pretty simple if you paid attention to what was going on. Nice visuals though and I appreciated the original screenplay. Too many movies today are a remake of a remake of a remake with a different title thrown on. Boring.

Now my fiancee on the other hand, she had no idea wtf was going on and it was kind of a drag having to explain it. Of course it doesn't help that she automatically falls asleep half a dozen times whenever we watch a movie.

I appreciated it for what it was worth and enjoyed it a lot. It was a cool take on a heist movie and not a generic summer blockbuster. I'm a big Chris Nolan fan, too.

I just think a lot of people were looking too deeply at it, trying to find things that weren't there, and then instantly jumping to "zomg epic mindfuckblown" comments.
