So.. hypothetically, i mean- I have this friend- lets call him John.

So John here is pretty goddam poor- But he needs a new lens. Hes got a new photography job.

John, happens to have... lets say... hypothetically, a canon rebel. And he really needs a L series lens thats like.... idk 1500 bucks.

So, John has a fucking shitty quantaray 28-200 that he got, lets say, i dont know... from a ritz camera liquidation for like 75 bucks for 60% off.

So, hypothetically- not like John would ever do this... Because lets remember, John has some fucking morals the size of an elephant- If he ordered an L series from amazon that loosly resembled his 200 mm lens... then returned it... but instead put the 200mm back in the box and put everything back and shipped it back.

Would John have win?

If its a flawless victory, then and only then does John win.

I don't know about amazon, but people used to do this all the time when I worked at walmart.  Granted, I never saw anyone do it with a camera lens (i don't think they sold those), but it worked pretty well with usb sticks, sd and micro sd memory cards, etc.  We never caught anyone doing it, though, so I don't know of any successful way to play it off.
