dunno how many of you played the beta 3 but i must warn you , j10 suxx monkey balls almost unflyable , considering how it was before ( ive never liked it so it doesnt harm me but for all the j10 whores it's gonna be catastrofic )
so for all you good f35 pilots , youre gonna get bored , j10 has gotten slow fat and really slow reacting , if you have less than full throttle you're basically not able to manuver... think EA overreacted the dogfight j10 vs f35 a lil.

I belive you're still able to avoid missiles by doin loops upsidedown in j10 but the radius is nothing like before...just thought i might say this , I installed back to 1.41 mainly for this reason : It's too fucking boring fighting a j10 compared to before

Nerfing has never done anything but bad for this game and the only things that have needed nerfing have been Claymores and G36E. Coincidentally those have never really been nerfed (well claymore has now, a bit) but rather made more powerful (Claymores were perfect when they were destructible by nades)

So annoying, part of the + for flying F35 was that barely anyone TKed for it, they were all trying to get the J10.

yeah i just came of a game having 20-5 or sum in my beloved f35 , stratorunning and mging j10s is such a thrill with thenchnobass in the background , im gonna miss the times when you were on a team were everyone hates f35 because its dit and its dat bad , you take it , own with it , get kicked for hacking

For me the nerfing of the J10 doesnt really matter, Ive never rly been a J10 whore and 70% of my jet hours is in F35, sure it feels good to kill nub J10s with your jet's bb-gun but other than that jet vs jet is boring and waste of time. I prefer 2 missiles than 5mins of flying in circles.

Why the hell would you even want to fly jets on J-10 vs F-35 maps in the first place? It was shit in 1.41 and it is still shit in 1.5. Play on Kubra Dam, OCS, Gulf of Oman, Zatar, or even the EF/AF maps

I just think that fights between the J-10 and the F-35 are worthless. You can't have a proper dogfight with them. F-18/F-35 vs. MiG is the closest thing BF2 has to a balanced fight between jets

The thing with Dal/Wake is that the F35 greatly swings the fight, on Kubra/Zatar they have very little weight swing. Yeah, it's interesting - you can go up against some asian with a 300 ping who dodges 30+ missiles in the J10 but next round fire two missiles through flares at someone who has 1k jet hours. But I prefer Dal/Wake simply because I think you can influence the game more, I hate flying the F18, it's shit.

Well, the difference between us is that I pretty much only care about fighting other jets, not so much winning/losing the round. Except for on Kubra as MEC, because they lack an uncap and it's up to me to stop us from losing the airfield so I can keep flying. On zatar one jet doesnt make much difference but on Kubra all the choppers and armor are funneled into one neatly bomb-able area.

Also why do you hate the F-18 so much?

Yuh, seems like everyone thought this that tested beta 3 but not a single soul felt the need to tell DICE untill final release was out so you can thank the masses on the EA forums, as opposed to DICE.

Isn't the J-10/F-35 dynamic the same as the MiG/F-18 one now? Meaning, one jet is faster but vulnerable to missiles (MiG, F-35), while the other is slower but dodges them (F-18, J-10)

The F18 is a fat, slow ugly jet that has a terrible bombing platform and delayed reaction time.

I'd take the F35 other the F18 against any other jet.
