ELITE-UK: Scratching my back; +170|6894|SHEFFIELD, ENGLAND

Some of you know, some of you may not yet, but Manor Motorsport will be entering Formula 1 next season.

And luckily for me i live just a few minutes away from their headquarters and i work in the warehouse across from it!

Hopefully next season i will be seeing some famous drivers passing by!

When I first seen the thread, I thought it would be about some motoring event outside a manor.

I can't wait until next season, they have cars for each of the kinds of race they do, so next season they will have a Formula 1 car in the window!

I wonder who Manor, Campos and USF1 are gonna sign for next season. Still no talk about who's gonna be driving for them. It probably won't be anyone particularly famous. But 6 new cars is 6 new cars. The thing that's making me excited for next season is the refuelling ban. Those cars are gonna have some huge fuel tanks, and apparently when they did it in 1993 or something, you had cars just stopping dead because they ran out of fuel and shit.

Should be interesting. And they're also getting rid of the stupid 3rd round qualifying fuel rule where you have to have race fuel when doing Q3. I think with next season it's gonna be just qualifying fuel (aka 1-2 laps worth of fuel) for all three segments.

the complete lack of any information from Manor hasnt really convinced me that Manor can do a half-decent job on the grid next year. USF1 have been all over the news and claim to have fully designed their car on CAD. Adrian Campos has done some interviews and stuff too. but not a word from manor so far! why Prodrive or Lola didnt get the spots, who the hell knows?!?!
