reverse engineering

sorry, star wars galaxies still has a hold on me

Unique as in it's the only ship called Yacth? 
I would build up that fleet of m7, that ship is so potent, nothing would stand in your way.

Well, I renamed it of course. But unique as in I don´t reproduce it. But then again, it so kicks ass, a few more couldn´t be wrong, could they?

How long does it take to take it apart?



@Hooch: Congratz! My first "sighting" scared me so much, I was unable to find the screenshot key in time and flying a slow vessle, it quickly disappeared.

I heard though, that it´s not really "unknown", and that you are able to download complementary data for your ship´s computer after you finished the storyline.

I've read elsewhere, I think it was on Egosoft site, that it is supposed to have a mod that brings multiple new solar systems and I can't find it anymore.  Have you heard of it?

I think you mean the XTM (Extended Mod). More systems, more ships and weapons, more powerful enemies. Far as I was told, it´s pretty tough.

Same for me. If only I knew where the hell to go and what the fuck I am supposed to do when I get there. This game needs a tutorial. Like how stupid can they be to not add a fucking tutorial to a game this confusing.

The only thing I found that teaches you something is the flight school faggot. And that only teaches you to fly. This looks like a fun game but way to confusing.

Try looking for tutes on the egosoft forums or download the manual. It has some walkthroughs of the first couple of missions so i'm told.

I've just started playing for the third time now. The first two times i tried i had no idea wtf was going on and just gave up.

Now that i get what's happening and how to do everything the game is

It is very complicated to get started but once you do and you know what's going on you can sink a lot of enjoyable hours into it.

I know, the start is fecking confusing. I made the first couple of mission (3 I think), then craped on it and started my trading career.
My tip to get your first million. Buy energy cells in the sector west of argon prime, sell in argon prime. Then start buying ore and silicon in orebelt or imperial mines and sell it it Cloudbase SO/Paranid Prime. It´s a grind, but after a few hours you´ll get the hang of it.
The game´s greatest feature is at the same time the game´s biggest handicap. The sheer sandbox gameplay. Thing is, there is no thing you NEED to do next. It´s all what you WANT to do next. I sunk around 180 hours into it and still got times where I just sit in front of my screen clueless, doing nothing.
But after a while I scout new locations, build up more complexes to further my goal of total galaxy domination etc.

Well, I started with a wheat farm in Herrons Nebula. In General, the tier 1 food factories are a good start for you empire. I´m just afraid 500k won´t get you all the way there. A factory plus hired TL transport, at least one TS transport with commercial agent expansion, full shielding and starting money for the factory itself (at least 100k) will bring you to around a million.
You can of course buy the factory first (think a wheat farm is around 380k) and start buying energy cells and selling wheat (lol) yourself until you can afford a freighter.

Boron food factories (BoGas and Bofu) run good in argon territory too.



I might consider getting xfire, but I suck at being online in those things.

edit says you can do as finny said too, but put the sector trader into imperial border, levels up in a heartbeat there.
