I will ask this question one more time, and then I give up. I searched for a solution anywhere, but didn't find it.

When I play Battlefield 2, I expierence lag after 2 - 3 rounds of playtime. Before, it's all good. But when I play a little bit longer, my ping raises up from 29 to 240,440,810 etc. Wich is resulting in an unplayable game for me.

I tried forwarding the ports again, but this didn't help.

I'm ducth so my connection is too. I have @HOME as provider. Anyone know what the problem could be, help me out.

Does your provider has some sort of limitations on speed / download / upload ?

Mine tends to slow my connection drastically when a few gigs went through the pipeline within a day or so. But that's not the amount of traffic BF2 should cause.

Cheers,

I had this trouble with my computer doing the same thing after a few rounds of play. I run a 3800 amd 64, 1 gig ram, 800 pro ati, my computer would get hot and everything would start to slow down or lag alot, so I would have to shut down for a little while to cool off. I put in another 1 gig stick of ram up graded to the 7800gtx oc video card. All my problems came to a stop. I have not had any heat problems or lag after the change. I run a 5mg down and 512 up unlimted internet connection , so I knew it was not that. If you think it is your internet and you are connected to a router unplug it to reset it every once in a while, or the router could be going bad. If you are using a modem that could be going bad. If the modem is an old one change out to a new one.

I already ready had 4 fans and a copper heat sink, and still ran so hot you could not touch the inside.

I play on a notebook. Don't know what it is. Could be overheated, but I don't think so.

Well, thanks for your help anyway.
