BF2S Forums Tips for C4 usage on IO maps?

Go play Warlord, wait for one team have the 3rd floor & the other team have the 2nd floor.  C4 is epic fun in the palace battles.

Lame, obviously you dont know how to play as a spec ops kit. laying c4 on a choke point and blowing up tards keeps you alive longer for you to get more kills since you obviously need to hide. that is how i got some insane K/D in game ratios. especially warlord where i got 100 kills in the palace.

ghost town , man the C4 opportunities in that map are endless. booby trapped some of the tanks in the speznaz side and a helicopter full of baddies. got a shit load of kills by just being patient.

I also need some C4 pointers, never played much Spec ops. One thing you might try is baiting people (or preferably squads) to follow you around corners. It's hard to resist pursuing somebody if you think they are running away, so pop off a round or two to get their attantion, then flee and get the detonator out. Otherwise just being aware of what's going on on the map helps. Example - both warlord palace flags get capped. You know that in about 30 seconds lots of people are going to come out of the main entrance of the palace to move on to the mosque or security office (or whatever it's called) and that they will be ripe for the kabooming as they exit the door. The enemy often move in predictable ways like this.

Damn, most I have ever seen was about six, predictably at a flag (Sharqi surveillance).

1) Glitch into a wall near hotel, make sure theres no battlerecorder or you eat 6month GGC ban
2) Get support to spawn at you in ur squad
3) Spam C4 at every1.. (or just use ur gun whatever)
4) People goes germankid

Playing c4 on IO maps is very easy. I am the first person in the squad to run directly into the enemy. Sometimes they say the best defense is a good offense.

Just place c4 on your victim (think of it as a close-range grenade) and immediately detonate. The question is, how many c4's should you put? The distraction of the explosion usually confuses your opponent long enough to escape, so I say that for every person, use half a c4. The more people = the worst situation for you.

Isolate a group of people in a tight parameter area (i.e. a house on Jalalabad) and c4 yourself directly onto the roof. Charge in, lay 3 or 27 bags and detonate. Instant squad killer...... Otherwise, you could always kill one dude, steal his medic kit, and proceed to rape from the flank with the crouch spam G36CE.....

how do you get in to hotel with c4 in IO if I may ask...
