Hmm, maybe: right click on your task bar, properties, then click "keep the taskbar on top of other windows"

Protip: don't blame Vista, it's been like that since '95.
Protip: If tooltips for system icons appear under the Taskbar, go to the Start Menu and choose Sort By Name twice.

Whenever I exit tf2 the monitor turns black and I see all these old popups from earlier that day, like "AVG scan started", "Results", "File whatever has finished downloading".
It's weird but they always disappear when the desktop returns. But I think that might be a gfx card issue. lol
