It'd be a nice experience sharing that with his son, but you probably wouldn't be too happy if you bought tickets and got to sit next to the couple who decided a concert would be a good experience for their tot.

Any chance this is coming to europe?
Bringing ear plugs to a concert, club, rave, whatever, is one of the best choices. You can still hear the music just fine, it's just not destroying your ears in the process.
