Jesus Camp is not the same equivalent to state backed propaganda.

But still propaganda and perhaps worse because if its state run and politically motivated the people can change their mind, while if its religious inculcation like this, in order to change your "religious" mind you have to go against your faith and in this case that's one way ticket ostracization and the imaginary tales of hell spun by that religion. Religious propaganda is much worse. Its the reason why politics should never be mixed with religion or religion mixed with politics, that = fail.

Call it for what it is, every culture has propaganda to create social cohesion. And everyone was brainwashed when they were young, so don't fool yourself. You are better off recognizing its influence on yourself and that doesn't mean you have to rebel against it. Whether its religious in nature, communist or pro-mouseketeermarketeer, if you recognize its influence on your decision making then you are in a better position to protect yourself and to achieve self-preservation when the purple cool-aid gets past around, whether that would be coolaid for capitalism, communism, religion, racism or anything else.

hey, its not like it hasn't happened before. Luckily the camp is closed. But there is no doubt others open that have not been exposed.
