So I always loved seeing purple tracers whizzing by my head in DC Final. Why don't they have such things in BF2. especially on the night maps!

They have tracers on the giving end but not the receiving end - i.e. you can see your tracers coming out of the gun with the blackhawk or LMG, etc. - but if you're on the receiving end of that fire you don't see it.  I think they only do it coming out of the gun for graphics management - if on night maps you had tracer rounds to see, then it would put more strain on the graphics card - but I don't know, I talk out my ass.

If DC Final did it, I think BF2 can do it.

It may put a bit more stress on the GFX card, but it is much needed for night maps.  As murphy's law goes

i'm sure that the tracers are pre generated and not mapped things in the BF2 files, PB may not detect it if you simply change any RGB values used for tracer colors.
