Now I'm back on campus, I need something to track my downloads since we're limited to 1 gig per day, reset at midnight. Last time I lived on campus, I used Bandwidth Monitor Pro which did that perfectly, however it doesn't work on Vista/7 and appears to have been discontinued. I've tried about 6 different programs so far, but none of them seem to be as flexible as BMP or work very well at all. Most just monitor up/download speeds.

What can you guys suggest?

I think there's some vista sidebar gadgets that do it. Just a thought ...

Get "Bandwidth Vista"

It's freeware and should do the trick for Vista/7

Will that reset when I shutdown, or at midnight?

Specs says that it holds a full log of bandwidth usage.

If not, before you shut down just copy the stats into a word doc and keep your own record of what you did that session and add them up.

I was expecting some bizarre link to a thread on another forum from 2003 where a troll requested a place to download a new monitor.

Son, I am disappoint.
