Wow thats fucked. I had to travel to another town about 4 hours away to do my aptitude test/medical. I payed my own way but got reimbursed for it.

Yes I know a war is going on right now. But Canada is pulling out in 2011 so I most likely wont be going for 2 reasons:
1. When I get in to the army (6-8 months from now) I well have a year of training before I am combat ready
2. Our soldiers volunteer to go to Afghanistan. We aren't forced to go.
