ur rite. this patch + autoadmin has made rape impossible. spawn killing is the only way to dominate now, so beefing the aa made this easier for the ground players. as a heli whore, i hate it, as infy it's cool. who cares, its a game ffs.ROGUEDD wrote:

i dont like how they extended the AA range. i can no longer see whats locking on to me because of the 350 lock distance.

So let me get this straight, you think that playing CoD4 at a high level is easy?I'm Jamesey wrote:

You know what CoD4 is also without? Teamwork. Squads. Medics. Decend size maps.Mint Sauce wrote:
something that CoD4 is without for the most part.

Meh, CoD4 suck.
Whenever it's me talking about a game, i'll be talking about the competitive side, you should know that :pI'm Jamesey wrote:
You never mentioned high level at all, stop trying to put words into my mouth.
I think if anyone who is half capable at gaming put in 600+ hours practise they could play high level cod4 np
This is bullshit though.Mint Sauce wrote:
CoD4 requires ... way more tactics than BF2.
of course BF has a shitload of bugs, and lag than COD4. COD4 is of a smaller scale in terms of design compared to BF2. you can do a lot more in BF2 than COD4. that being said, bigger does not always mean better. in my opinion, BF2 is abused way more than COD4. crazy 12 year old admin, spawncamping up the ass, vehicles all over the place just sitting there waiting to pop you in the mellon. etc. there is Spawnkilling in COD4 but its not that apparent.Mint Sauce wrote:

BF2 is a decent game, but it's ruined by stupid little bugs and lag, something that CoD4 is without for the most part.
yeah but those mobile AAs are a pain in the ass. their range was extended as well. 350 is just outside of max draw distance, so if they aren't shooting tracers, you have to hope you see the missles coming.Sydney wrote:
AA range has been extended? I didn't realize. I know all the AA locations on all maps (except for boosters, will be added to memory very soon) and TV missile has a range of 450m, which beats the AA. Just check the map to see if it's unmanned or not.
I agree, that's why mobile AA is priority 1 target, even higher than other attack helis perhpaps, since you only need 1 TV to get a mobile AA, but attack heli battles can take long enough for the AA to shred you with his canons.steelie34 wrote:

High level of CoD4 competition requires tactics, positions, tacnades, alot of calling and knowledge of maps/callnames whereas BF2 does not to the same extent.DeathUnlimited wrote:

I prone spam a lot, and I love 1.5 I find that it's actually better than 1.41ROGUEDD wrote:
Close, but no cigar.
People who prone spam = hate 1.5
People who J-10 whore'd = hate 1.5
Everybody else = love 1.5
And I agree with Sydney, the J-10 is awsm now, but it seems to take off really slowly on wake for some reason...
dunno what level of bf2 you've played but when I play there's a lot of tactics, squadleader positioning, calling and knowledge of mapsMint Sauce wrote:

But you have to fuck up badly to miss mobile AA, while you can easily miss evading attack helis, (except for the Mi-28 fatty)DrunkFace wrote:
Attack helis only take 1 TV too...
At least you can flare and run from AA.

Translation: You need to know the map by the book.Mint Sauce wrote:

I know there is, but in my experience it's more important to do so in CoD4; in BF2 you can be revived etcI'm Jamesey wrote:

If you play a map by standard tactics on CoD4 you are going to get DOMINATED, every team has their own different setsIoan92 wrote:

Playing by a blue print doesn't seem very tactical to me. But being aware in a huge map and using tactics seems much more fun.
imo
