eh they shouldn't have lowered the sgt maj req...should've just filled the gaps from 50,000 and up. The last few ranks should have been stretched a bit more too. the top players have no incentive to play now. should've made general at like a million points. would've gave those top 10 players another year or two of game time.

This is seriously the DUMBEST thing I've ever heard. I hope to God that the ranks stay the same and they just add on top of the 200k 2nd Lt.
Now the Sgt. Maj. rank will feel like the stupid staff sergeant rank, and before that patch, the corporal rank. I wwas less than 10k points away, and I wanted to EARN it. Now there's gonna be a frick load of Sgt. Maj. ranks just being handed out on silver platters. Also, the Sgt. Maj. rank will no longer be one of the superior ranks. Sgt. Maj. is turning into another noob rank.

Has anyone ever put a thought that they might actually LOWER the requirements for the vehicle badges...
No one thinks about anything, i mean no one knows for sure what will come with the patch EXACTLY, so chill out and wait it out instead of creating pages and pages on how EA wants to fuck everyone over, maybe they are making the game better by lowering the requirements like i stated above....

Sound a bit tough to me, 400h in armor and 150h in transport, plus 300h air and 400h heli if the count as vehichle also. Looking at the top ten list where the players have 250k+ score now, the total play time is around 1000-2000h. Many lies around 1300h. 550h of that in vehicles IS much, and note that they have 70k more points than the 180k which includes play time. None of the top ten player had even ONE expert vehicle, one player was very close to expert armor though. AT 250K POINTS!
EA says that all players must be vehicle whores from now on! And that we shall be..?

The numbers don't make sense. FS to SM is a 25K jump. While SM to 2ndL is only 15K. Then it's 15K to each rank until Major. 10K from M to LC?!? Vehicle badges at expert before any expert combat badges come into the mix?!? The numbers/badge requirements don't seem plausible to me. I'd bet these numbers are not final numbers.
