Can you help?

Here are my current specs:

Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.40GHz 'Kentsfield'
Corsair Twin2X 4GB (2x2GB) DDR2 XMS2 6400 DHX
Asus P5K PRO P35 (Socket 775) 'Crossfire' 1333FSB DDR2 PCI-E ATX Motherboard
Asus nVidia GeForce 8800GTS 512MB DDR3 Dual DVI/TV Out (PCI-E)

I can only afford to upgrade my gfx card, the budget is no more than £150.

cheers.

That'll be plenty. It's running the same engine as CoD4:MW, so if you can run that full tilt then it'll be fine.

The 5850's are ~$260 USD and support DX11.

No point in upgrading to that when he'll do fine on what he has at the moment. He should probably wait until after nVidia release their DX11s then see what's available, since it isn't urgent.

I figured as much, the DX 11 cards probably won't be needed until mid next year, when new games start releasing.
