Just wanted to know how much blood the human body can contain. I'm doing some research. Some sites are a bit unreliable though. So I wanted to know how much blood the human body can lose without dying. Not passing out, I mean dying! Does adrenaline play a factor?- In one day, your blood travels nearly 12,000 miles.
- Your heart beats around 35 million times per year.
- Your heart pumps a million barrels of blood during the average lifetime -- enough to fill three supertankers.
The human body holds 5.6 liters right (Depends on the person)? So how much can you lose without dying? 65-70%? Just curious!
