Yeah, vapes are much more mild.  I love the convenience of not having to go outside to smoke, or having to load up & clean out a bowl, or the roughness of smoking flower, but I do miss going to the moon sometimes.  It's surely not as easy to do with a vape unless you really work at it.

There was a federal Marshall outside my work on 4/20, he might have been K-9 also, I couldn't really tell.  Probably trying to catch my Baltimore coworkers selling each other weed in the parking lot.

Yeah, it's so weird, we usually have county cops patrolling around if somebody gets fired and then threatens management or if somebody that works there is having an issue with a stalker, but I'd imagine a Marshall would have better things to do than that, given that they're federal.  I certainly hope they have better things to do than just sit in a busy office parking lot at night and try to give poor black people federal weed charges as they go in to work.

So what would you do? Would you make a big deal out of the smoking, suspend kids, call parents, drug rehabilitation etc. or would you give them leeway and tell them to not do it again? Hopefully they took it to heart when I told them "don't even come to school."

With what context you've provided, you probably made the right call in letting them off the hook. Also, there are probably worse things high school kids could be doing at school than smoking pot in the restroom. That's not what I was taking exception to at all.

The assertion that they'll probably be like "oooooh, society has failed us" after they become adults, well there will probably be some truth to their hypothetical future complaint. In fact, as stuff like climate change and wealth gaps cause more issues, complaints about previous generations sitting around with their thumbs up their butts about it will be more and more justified.

To be fair to you, you are one teacher. You're not their parents, you're not society, and half of your government wants to uproot your field.

I lost the love of my life over these kids smoking pot. I wish I could go back in time, quick save, and then fist fight the smallest one.

I went to a marijuana store now that they are legal. I bought a joint, a vape cart, and edibles. I think for now on I am only going to be edibles.

The vaping and smoking isn't good for the lungs. The edibles also are great and cheap. 10 x 100 mg edible gummies for $30. I could eat through the pack of gummies Friday and Saturday. $30 is super cheap for 2 days of being high. A joint typically has 100mg of THC. So I take two edibles at a time every few hours.

I didn't know I was going to quit vaping/smoking at that point. The edibles were an afterthought. I actually wanted a joint to smoke since the effects of flower is different than vape.

Went to the marijuana place Thursday. Hour drive both ways. Never again. What sucked is that they have purchase limits. I wanted three containers of edibles but was restricted to one. So I had a pack of prerolled while there.

I am trying to make a change over to edibles so a purchase limit is unwelcome. I will check out delivery services since the staff mentioned that other places deliver if you purchase at least $100.

Also I saw a True Crime video where a guy shot a 18 year old woman and her 30ish boyfriend during a drug deal. Funny that there is now a cop guarding the marijuana place meanwhile some other places you can still get a bullet to the head over a little bit of weed.

Finally, the edibles are in units of 100 mg x 10 per container for $30. For reference.

I take the edibles by two every few hours on Friday. Entered Saturday morning with 3 left. So ignoring the vape hit I took to start off...I can do 700mg of marijuana or 5 joints in one sitting if I stay up until night.

How can I function with that much marijuana? At home just fine. I often talk to girls from the internet while totally stoned and they are none the wiser though I have trouble remembering which girl goes with what story sometime. Have to reread text messages. If I was out and about I would seriously have trouble functioning while this high. I would totally like to try higher dose edibles.

Thank God I don't do harder drugs. I would be as dead as Sid Vicious is I treated heroin the same way I do marijuana.
