Still not getting your point, of all the students I went to college with - the hardest drinking college in London - I don't know of any alcoholics.CapnNismo wrote:
Alcohol has no long-term consequences? Did you fall asleep during your drug education classes in school? I mean, seriously? How many college students become alcoholics in some form or another or have liver damage by the time they get their Associate's degree?
Fuck Israel
I think that's probably due to the different drinking culture in Europe. In the US it's totally different.

goldsmiths is the hardest partying college in london. that's where the art students still think it's 'hip' like the 50's to do heroin.
and 'alcoholism' is a very broad term. i could say i know many students that are technically 'alcoholic' in their lifestyles and daily use.

Didn't say partying, said drinking.
Fuck Israel
i'm not sure you could give me one piece of evidence that imperial college is the 'hardest drinking' college in london-- not even the UoL.

Vap. or bust, tbh. So smooth, so mellow. A bong will get me higher, but it won't last as long. I prefer the chilled-out, slow rise and slow descent, longer high of the vaporizer.

Goldsmiths is a 10 minute walk from my house. I've spent a lot of time drinking with Goldsmiths students (and at the student union there and so on) - they are NOT the hardest partying college in London.
clearly you're not going to the right places in new cross. the hardcore arts kids at goldsmiths are, no joke, on heroin on a weekly basis.Bertster7 wrote:

i went to a house-party in new cross once with about 150 goldsmiths kids there. coke and mephedrone was being handed around on giant mirrors for everyone to tuck into. no less than about 15 police cars, 2 squads of police-dogs and 50 on-foot officers broke it up. the party and all of its participants just went to another house around the corner, and about 25 people dropped ketamine at 5am and wandered around london as the sun came up, all comatose. i have never seen anything like it.

I've grown up in New Cross - I know the right places to go. I spent my teenage years living in squats round here and going to free parties every saturday, then spending the whole of Sunday coming down, often on acid, usually drinking loads of beer in Greenwich park. Was expelled from my school in New Cross for being on Ketamine and ranting at teachers.Uzique wrote:

Trust me - I know the right places in New Cross. I've spent about 24 years living here. Goldsmiths students are, on the whole, regarded as pussies round here. Since the GMT got revamped and they cleaned lots of grimey places up it's got even more pathetic.

getting expelled for ketamine-ranting... nice one... that's the sorta childhood-education more people should have!
