So I got the $30 Home pre-order a week or so ago, but didnt realize I could get the professional version for $30 also. Since with the Pro version there is no 16GB RAM limit, it would be nice to have since high end rigs now already have 8GB. Anyone know where/how/if its possible to cancel an order from Digital River without going through some bullshit with their customer support? I havent found anything on their site that would allow you to get a refund or just plain cancel the order. Dont want to have to wait

I don't see why you're going to be needing 16GB's of RAM anytime soon.

Considering MSes record of having every other OS be good, I figured its possible I would need that much or more before the next good one

Just found that they dont let you cancel credit card orders after the day of sale (according to their terms and conditions)... Oh well, doesnt matter too much anyway. Karmaz for help anyway

A new Windows will be released before 16GB of RAM becomes mainstream.  Hell, probably two releases before that becomes a normal thing.
