Land Rovers are ok in my book. The History Channel had a documentary on Land Rovers and Jeep vehicles...it was interesting to say the least. I wouldn't pay $30,000 or higher on a car. The Land Rover dealerships in the U.S. have an off-road training track for the yuppies. I guess they need to take classes on how to off-road.

Tried out the Discovery awhile back. Totally unimpressed. Nice torque, but lousy acceleration. Hated the "big" windows too. Liked the Range Rover though.

I remember this show on Discovery channel where they have a competition between 2 vehicles/quads/dirtbikes, pretty much everything. Anyway, they did one with Jeep Wrangler vs Land Rover. the Land Rover killed the Jeep if I remember correctly. If I had a choice between the two I would choose the Jeep just because it actually looks cool and you can take the top off + the doors and cruise like that which would be some wicked fun.
