Today's drink:
Apricot Fizz
This drink is based on a classic fizz recipe. The twist is the inclusion of apricot jam, which adds a wonderful dry, stone fruit aroma. Fizzes are long drinks with a refreshing flavour and a nice foamy head provided by the egg white. The apricot will cut through some of that freshness adding warm character and taste. This drink is best served as long as the soda bubbles carry the aroma up the glass and into the air. It could be served shorter without the addition of the soda for a heavier, richer experience.
