I don't get why the hell they put set amounts on paper length. Why do I have to stretch out something I can wrap up in 3 pages out to 10? Seriously it just ends up with me adding a bunch of fluff or repeating myself and getting a A for 7 extra pages of bullshit.

That means your teachers/professors are terrible.

I've had some who have said, "There's no limit or minimum, it's quality over quantity" and others who have said, "No more than 15 pages, but if it's less than 10 pages something's wrong. Most of the time people get it all squared away within 11 to 13" (and we did, it was perfect).

Heh, I've got a 3-pager due next week (haven't started, or even found a topic ) and the professor said, "Make it around 3 pages. That's good enough for a Nobel Peace Prize."
