This has been a long standing pain in my ass, and I'm finally getting around to fixing this. I need an email client that several people can use (not simultaneously) so a program these people use can create a new email message. Basically, the program has a function where you can include notes on a subject, and there is a button you can click to email these notes. It opens your default email program, and creates a draft with the notes. All the person has to do is put in the recipient address and hit send.
We have tried Outlook, which is waaaay to complex with the various profiles. It basically needs to set up a profile every time someone new uses the system. This is stupid and a waste of time. Eudora is fucking garbage. It creates a file when you open the program, and gives only the user who opened the program first rights to the file, so subsequent users cannot open Eudora since they don't have the necessary permissions to open the file. The file is required for Eudora to work. Even stupider than Outlook. The only thing that is stupider than that is my solution of having a scheduled task run every time a user logs on to delete that file. For whatever reason, the job doesn't always work so I'm stuck fixing this again and again and again...
Help me! I need a solution to this problem be it a new mail client that has a small footprint and isn't retarded, or a better way to control Eudora.
thanks bf2s.
